Our Story

Picmonic was born out of a simple yet powerful idea: learning doesn’t have to be boring or overwhelming. It all started when two medical students (Ron Robertson & Adeel Yang), frustrated with endless memorization, decided to create a better way to retain information. They combined their passion for education with the science of memory retention, crafting visual mnemonics that turned dry facts into unforgettable stories.

In June 2021, Picmonic joined the TrueLearn brand family and is trusted by over two million learners worldwide, including students, educators and healthcare professionals across medicine, nursing and related healthcare fields, helping them master complex information and achieve continued success through their educational journey.
